Manchester United attacker Daniel James admits he’d prefer to play on the left-side.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handed the 21-year-old his debut in the 2-0 win against Perth Glory and he started the game on the left with Anthony Martial playing through the middle and Tahith Chong on the right.
“For me that left position was always my favourite,” James replied on MUTV when asked about his preferred position. “But I like being versatile and playing anywhere across the front three providing I’m in the team.
“It’s important you’ve got to play all three and our forward players can play that. Anthony played No 9 today and it’s good for us all to interlink and we swapped a few times and it’s good to play all three.”
