Man Utd boss Solskjaer admits medical room still crowded

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says their injured players will need another week to recover.

Solskajer said Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Axel Tuanzebe and Tim Fosu-Mensah, all of whom are recovering from injury, will not be ready in time to face Chelsea on Monday.

“I don’t think we’ll get anyone back for the Chelsea game,” said Solskjaer. “Scotty, Axel and Tim didn’t join in too much, so they’re not ready to play that game. Paul is not ready, of course.”

United have beaten Chelsea twice already this season and a win on Momday would cut the gap to three points between them and the Blues in the race for fourth spot.

“A win gives us three points and that’s what we’ve got to aim for,” said Solskjaer. “We’ve played them twice this season and done well.

Chelsea are a good team, they’re at home, but we’re going there to try and win the game, which would give us more belief, more hope, and we need to kick on.”
