Man Utd boss Mourinho hints 'happy and proud' Pogba to make Leicester opener
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says Paul Pogba has returned to the club in good spirits.
The French World Cup winner is wanted by Barcelona and is said to be keen to join.
And Barca are set to step up their pursuit of Pog, 25, before the La Liga window closes on August 31.
Mourinho, ahead of tonight's season kickoff against Leicester City, said: “Paul arrived back on Monday — happy, proud, with a desire to work.
“He worked amazingly well on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
“He is one of the players I have to speak to, to see how he feels physically and mentally.
“But it's the same conversation as with Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini and Jesse Lingard.
“We need words with that small group to see if they can give us a hand."
