Liverpool FC news: Paris Saint-Germain want Jurgen Klopp to replace Unai Emery this summer
Klopp has catalysed Liverpool since replacing Brendan Rodgers as manager in 2015
Paris Saint-Germain have added Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to their managerial shortlist, according to reports.
The Ligue 1 club are expected to been on the hunt for a new head coach this summer, with current boss Unai Emery facing the sack after this season’s Champions League failure.
Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid manager, is PSG’s No1 target, though The Sun now say Klopp has entered the running.
The German has catalysed Liverpool since joining the Anfield club in 2015, following excellent work at Borussia Dortmund which resulted in two Bundesliga titles and a run to the 2013 Champions League final.
Mauricio Pochettino, the Tottenham boss, and Chelsea’s Antonio Conte are also on PSG’s shortlist, as talkSPORT told you earlier this month.
PSG’s interest in Klopp comes just a few days after it was revealed they are tracking Mohamed Salah with the intention of making a summer bid for a player who has scored 37 goals in just 43 games for the Reds this season.
