Chelsea FC transfer news: Blues change tune over Alvaro Morata sale as Juventus lurk
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata
Chelsea have baulked at the idea of allowing Alvaro Morata to rejoin Juventus this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The striker, who was left out of the Spain squad for this summer's World Cup, failed to impress during his first season in England, bagging 15 goals in all competitions.
His performances have led to suggestions that Chelsea could well cash in on the 25-year-old this summer, with a reported return to Juve on the cards.
However, according to Rai Sport, the Blues are not considering letting Morata leave after just one season at Stamford Bridge.
Juve were interested in snapping up Morata on an initial two-year loan, with an obligatory purchase option, but it would seem a deal is unlikely.
With Antonio Conte's future at the Blues still yet to be resolved, any movement on the transfer front is likely to be put on hold for the time being.
